Optimus offers the ability to restore and process backup tape data from a wide variety of software and data storage formats. This gives Optimus the capability to assist clients with handling, reviewing and producing data from different media sources. Due to the fact that it is sometimes impossible to restore data back to its original environment, Optimus can utilize non-native restoration procedures to increase the speed of data recovery and reduce the cost of native environment restoration.
